He writes: "Mariano's is a chain of grocery stores founded in 2010 in the Chicago area named after Robert Mariano who was the former CEO of Dominick's until Safeway took over in the 90's. When Dominick's went out of business in late 2013 due to parent company Safeway pulling out of the Chicago area, most were purchased and converted to Mariano's afterward, including this location.
