According to Wikipedia, "Menards... has approximately 285 stores in 14 states: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Kentucky. It is the third largest home improvement chain in the United States, behind The Home Depot and Lowe's."

Because land space comes at a premium in the inner ring suburbs of Chicago, this Menards was built as a two story store. Access between the two levels is via either an elevator or a special moving walkway for people with shopping carts. You are treated to live piano music as you traverse between the two levels. Quite unusual and unique for a home improvement store. Also the water tower of Hodgkins along I-55 gives directions on how to get this store.
"The first photo is from the restroom on the second floor near the back of the store. The second photo is from the restroom on the first floor near the main entrance."
