Milford Sound is one of the most popular destinations in Fiordlands National Park. The only road that reaches Milford Sound affords spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The sound itself offers unparalleled vistas of the surrounding fiords and is said to be one of the most spectacular destinations in New Zealand. This building is home to about five different sound cruise boat companies' ticket sales desks, as well as a couple of companies offering scenic plane and helicopter flights. The building was completed in the late 90's.
