The town of Soller is some two and a half miles inland. The valley and its surrounding mountain range, the 'Sierra de Traumantana', is a favourite destination for more mature visitors who enjoy walking, nature, ecotourism, swimming or simply being far from the hustle and bustle of the better-known tourist traps. This coastal resort has an impressive mountainous backdrop offering stunning views, and the sheltered horseshoe-shaped bay has two headlands, each with a small beach and a lighthouse. The port and marina house a range of shops and restaurants offering local and international cuisine, as well as fast food. These public urinals are to be found in a building on the small pier which also houses an Information Centre and from where ferries depart."
