Salado is located halfway between Austin and Waco. Interstate 35 runs from the Laredo, TX on the mexican border, passing through San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Des Moines and Minneapolis, eventually finding its way to Duluth, MN.
