Hotel Connor was built in 1989 by David Connor. The hotel has a "colorful past, ranging from heights of luxury to the depths of squalor and back again". While the downstairs Spirit Room is the only bar in this former ghost town, it looks like it's still currently in the "depths of squalor" stage.
The Spirit Room is also exceedingly popular with Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiasts that enjoy riding the extremely twisty Mingus Mountain scenic highway.
