"Twede's has staked its claim to fame on David Lynch's television show Twin Peaks, which used the location as a backdrop for its Twin Peaks Cafe. Tourists soak up the quirky, diner atmosphere, complete with glittery blue vinyl booths, linoleum floors, neon signs and Tweety Bird figures, but the local crowd, dressed in jeans and flannel shirts, make an appearance as well. Servers, coffee pot in hand, aren't above calling customers "hon" or "sweetie," as they push the cafe's cherry pie".
